Tanya Gabriel Audiology Services is one of two private audiology practices owned and run by Tanya Gabriel. She obtained her Bachelor of Speech & Hearing Therapy Honors degree, in 1995 from the then University of Durban-Westville.
After spending almost nine and a half years working as a district-based therapist in the Durban District Department of Health, she opened her first private speech therapy and audiology practice at the Netcare Kingsway Hospital in Amanzimtoti Durban in 2005.
In April 2012, she established her second practice at the Killarney Shopping Mall in Johannesburg.
Tanya attributes her patient-centered focus, to her years spent in government service. She adopts a principled approach to hearing testing and hearing aid selection and fitting. Patients are empowered with information enabling them to understand their hearing loss and needs.
Make an informed choice when selecting your hearing aids! This means that patients are able to select hearing aids from the world’s leading manufacturers, to suit their budget and listening needs. Both her practices are contracted to medical aids, charge basic medical aid rates and have cash discounts.
She believes strongly in the benefit of the option to have trial use of consignment and demo hearing aids without obligation.
